If you're stilling looking I tried out a SWR Workingman 15 combo today and was really impressed I only had the volume at half and It was loud enough to fill the entire shop. Should be plenty loud for gigging. It was around $1100 CDN so it might be in your range, the Workingman 12 is less but it is only 120 watts instead of 200 so you'd have to try it to find out about volume.
