Overdrive, which it excels at, or a medium-gain mid boost for single-note stuff, which it also excels at. I'll also occasionally set it up normally, then completely zero out a single slider, or keep all of them at zero except for one or two. You can get these really bizzarre sounds, and decent feedback if you keep the Dynamics slider down (it introduces a noise gate, and the Sustain slider adjusts how long the gate stays open).

I also like the fact that it can be used solely as an EQ, although pickup positions 2 and 4 sound really muffled when the EQ is on, no matter how lively the other positions sound. Which is weird. At lower gain settings, it sounds absolutely incredible with a wah running in front of it, and if you play bass, it's useful there too. I honestly think the only downfall of this pedal is the size.
