There's a handful of older Mesa combos that go for very low sums on eBay. Something like a .22 caliber combo, for example. Much lower wattage, 1x12 combo. Still loud, but much less unweildy than a 100 watt halfstack.

It won't have a recto sound necessarily (it depends on how you had your recto set up), but it'll have a mesa sound all the same.
