Sorry, I totally missed your post.
IMO: Duncan Full Shred - fluid, full of attack needed for Iron Maiden stuff and yet will not fall apart under a lot of distortion. DiMarzio has some similar PUs but I prefer the FS.

and look at what they suggest for a neck counterpart. I'm leaning towards Duncan Distortion NECK. Played a DD set for many years and loved the way they worked together and especially the middle position for the thick heavy as hell tone.
