i put the bassballs last in my (mini) chain; running the OD into it really causes it to come alive in a crazy way. basically it boosts the effect of the bassballs.
but i think with these sorts of things it's best to just experiment and see what you like best. a 'right' answer is pretty relative in regards to this conversation
