That's my approach at the moment! I'm down to, besides my delay (and the other pedals I'm trying to shift) a box of dirt pedals, and I'm looking to add more. Other than that, it's all amp, in that Stooges spirit.

Is your solo EP going to be stuff from your 'Instrumental Wanking' thread? If so, I'd love to hear how that 'Dreamy Skeemy' song turns out.
