EB's would've been my first choice but for the plain 3rd! There's one in the beefys i use and its such a struggle to keep in tune.

I may go for the power slinkys in the end due to Ernie's being my main choice on my electrics, their good tone and price.

The d'addarios were pretty good though when i used them, the 3rd might do me favour in terms of tuning stability.

May just get a set of both, and try them out for my preference.
