I have smallish hands for a guitarist. One of the reasons I like my early 80s Japanese Strat is because it has a very slim neck. Other guitars that work well for smallish hands are Gibson Melody Makers, 60s profile SGs, Jrs, and Standards. Danos are very light and the old ones at least have slim necks. Other options are Duosonics but stay away from 3/4 scales. The classic chick rock guitar is a modded MM. I have heard that the Hello Kitty guitars that Fender put out were actually decent. I know a guy that bought one for his daughter and ended up using it on stage. Have her try a few. Get the one that speaks to her. The easiest to play will be a Tele if the neck is right.
