Sounds to me like you need to raise your bridge a bit. Just turn the two screws that your bridge rests on, counter-clockwise and make sure they're even. You'll have to re-tune a little, then see how it works. I know that your action will be a little slower (higher, whatever you prefer) but the buzz should go away. I had a similar problem with a guitar I built. Maybe you could also adjust the truss rod in your neck so that it isn't so curved down, away from the body. It's kinda hard to know what I'm talking about if I can't show you, but hope you get the idea. Just go talk to some employees at your local shop, I'm sure they'll give you some good suggestions.
