i've never heard anything about that. obviously yeah, when you turn on the amp, but not when you turn it off.


and i've also wondered, i've always heard things similar to what ikkyu2 said about 11 secounds to bring a tube to the proper heat. but my friend left his amp on standby for about 30 minutes before a show....is there any point to this? i would think that if the amp is up to heat in 11 secounds, there wouldn't be any point at all to this.
