Yes. The way the Hagstrom system works is that the bridge moves when you move the bar. The bridge is on top of two metal poles that go all the way through the guitar body. It seems like it would be far too much trouble to replace your perfectly good Strat bridge with the Hagstrom system. Seriously dude, just get a Hag as your next guitar. It will be way easier, and at $250 (or less!) it's not a bad deal.
