I don't know much about the whle guitar set up thing, but from what you've said, it sounds like the neck is bowng downwards slightly.

Sounds similar to what my brother's guitar is like.

If you don't know exactly what you're doing, I would take it to a tech, as you could really **** up a guitar if you're not sure. I wouldn't feel confident about it.

Plus getting it set up might improve the playability overall and you'd get a beautiful new instrument back.


I may be completely wrong though, but maybe more people will read it by me posting and they can help you out.
