really, the question is how much time do you need, do you need overdubs, what extras do you want, do you want reverse, etc......

I personally have a Akai headrush, a RC-20 and a DL-4, the DL4 wins for ease of use, the RC-20 for time and storage, and the Akai for never breaking on me(unlike the other 2).
