Try putting them in the chain one at a time and seeing it you can isolate a condition that has the whine, but is will go away when you make one change.

Aslo, try running the pedals off batteries, no wall warts, to see if that helps... it could be a symptom of dirty power, though not incredibly likely.

i tried all of those man and i picked up it was the wall wart. i am using batteries until i figure out what to do now. i am only using batteries in the dd-20, the dd-3 (and i also have a de-7) are using power.

i tried the setting you have on yours (60% -70% wet) and it works pretty well. thanks for the help man.

i was thinking of investing in a pedal power 2 (or 3), so would that make things easier?
