Of course, i would usually say ditch the epi, as i dislike humbuckers, but someone recently pointed out to me that i was a bit too adamant about that. If you like 'em, you like 'em.

Actually, your rig is very similar to mine when i play bluesier stuff, though i tend to play a Jazzmaster.

my blues rig would usually go:
JM->Wah->'69 (fulltone fuzz face)->Paradox Flanger->Amp.

Yeah, the 20 effects for-no-good-reason thing baffles me. I use 9, and think i'm getting towards excessive. Then i realize they all have a place and a reason for being there, and i calm down abit...
