I've decided to ditch the AB-Y idea. It doesn't really affect my tone THAT much to warrant spending the extra money.
I don't know if its worth the time, but I was considering getting a volume pedal to put in the FX loop. Only problem then is that I have a patch lead running nowhere from my series loop so I can use the solo button as an instant mute. I will just put my tu-2 back in my current set up at the end of my pedal board. 2 tuners could come in handy I guess... I'll put the POD on Bypass.
My current Phaser setting on my POD isn't the best. Its very... not great. It seems like the wetness varies, depending on where the phase is.
I'm not much of an expert at clean sounds. Infact I don't know if what I've got sounds good. It sounds pretty decent to me. I know in a live situation, Dave Grohl ditched the Dual Recto + AC30 rig for a Road King, so I'm guessing the cleans aren't that bad. It helps that I put them at 20 watts above everything else. I'm not much of a studio person. I'm actually the type of person that if I wanted awesome cleans in the studio, then I'd just hire a Fender or Vox for the day. Most of my cleans have been plastered with Chorus anyway - Kyuss fan.
The coolest thing out of it all is that it all fits together really nicely. I'm just gunna get a pedal board made up about 65cms x 40 cms and everything will fit in snuggly.
