I am a Christian and I listen to secular bands way more than I listen to Christian bands. I am sick of people saying that all Christian music sucks. The majority of Christian music is un-original. The majority of secular music is un-original. There is bad music in all markets. There are also some very good Christian bands out there. Sleeping at Last, Lovedrug, and Starflyer 59 are all very creative and talented Christian bands. Also, the majority of good Christian music has lyrics that can be taken different ways. Their music can appeal to Christians and non-Christians alike. U2 and Coldplay are two immensly popular bands that have Christians in them. Does that pigeon-hole them and make them bad?
