A lot of people on these boards have problems with picking up radio signals - usually mariachi or classical music stations but sometimes it's ham radio (do a search for 'radio' in the amplifier section sometime.)
To fix the problem, some people recommend reshielding the guitar wiring, others grounding the amplifier to a water pipe, and one person recommended covering the entire room with tinfoil.
