I actually have the Fab Distortion-it's great for $15 dollars or whatever I paid for it-it really sounds like the clips. nice and dynamic, loud, and has a pretty decent range of settings. yes, it's made of plastic. avoid using it to hammer nails or chock your car's wheels and it will hold up fine. I haven't noticed any tone suckage and I've had it up nice and loud.
