That's not an amp issue. That's a tube issue. A crap tube should not reflect poorly on the amp.

That having been said, the power tubes in an AC30 (dunno about the CCs but I assume it's the same) run VERY VERY hot in their enclosed space. This actually makes the amp sound a lot better (cooking tubes sound luscious) while shortening the life of your tubes.
