Got it there.

I would also stretch the strings once you put them on (I've got a string winder with a groove for this purpose) whilst holding the trem steady... It's this stretching that pulls the tuning out once you've set up initially.

Been a trem user for years & it's just one of those things that you get used to! Change, stretch, retune, play, retune, play, retune....!
