I had read that those speakers require a bit of break in time before they reach their tonal optimality- it think it was on a Tonequest review. It seemed that it was recommended that the speakers be run w/ a constant tone (drone?) for a certain amount of hours. I think it came off a link from univalve.net, which may now be updated as some of their threads have long lives. It was a rather inconclusive article and only made me more curious. It (univalve.net) is a pretty interesting site- highly recommended even if you don't own a THD.
