What kind of Ampeg is it? The tremoverb is definitely a nice amp. I'm not a big high gain freak but this amp will do that for sure. I personally have the second channel set to clone the orange channel with the vintage distortion mode. I find myself playing channel 1 on the clean setting the most though and using things like fuzz pedals and overdrives since I tend to do a lot more single notes and chords that really need to be defined and ring out. Oh and I usually use quite a bit of delay and reverb.

In another thread several people were saying it's ridiculous to own a rectifier and not use it's distortion, but in the case of my tremoverb I completely disagree. I know that this amp can serve the need of several different music styles so even if I'm not using it's distortion a lot right now it doesn't mean that I won't use it more down the road.

All that being said, I currently want to get my hands on a Blues Deville as I really love the cleans on them once you switch out the speakers with Vintage 30s and put some good tubes in it. A Tonebone Hot British pedal through those things sound absolutely awesome... though I digress.
