Hey hey.

I'm planning to buy a TS808, as I'm a huge Stevie Ray fan, but I know that the reissue TS808s tend to have a mellow overdrive sound rather than a screaming blues sound.
I'm have no problem with that, I adore SRV's tone, but I like a bit of a boost for the solos. So should I buy another tube screamer and use two, like Stevie Ray's rig, or buy a boost pedal?
I'd be using my SRV Custom Strat through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.
