however, a cheaper option with almost exactly the same results would be to buy a boss sd-1 and get it modded. I believe all modders do this mod (generally called the sd-808 mod).

Your best bet for the money would be monte-allums mod at www.monteallums.com/product_links.html. Get the DIY kit for 20 bucks or send it in for 35 bucks \m/
