you may try not using 6 mic's on a drumset.
and i don't say that to be ****y. let the set breathe a little in the room. we always had a dead dead dead practice space and my drummer insisted on using two tom mics, snare/hihat 57, kick drum, and two overheads...
after he cut down to three mic's it was a lot better for our space.
