well the reason why I wish to run an engl and an orange together is for a few reasons

#1: i've seen it done once and the tone was incredible
#2: for the music I play everyone is either playing a 5150 or jcm800...I want to step outside of the box and sculpt a sound that really differs from the typical rhythm gain sound
#3: I wish to dial in a bass heavy high gain with the engl and then layer in a bright orange tone on top of it...so actually the orange is used to compliment the engl

the model I have is an AD30HTC. That's why I chose to limit my options to the 50W models because I dont want to cover it up. I am however a bit interested in a few of the 100W models [haha the SE is a bit too spendy for me]

the dealer thought my idea made no sense at all and he recommended a JTM45, so I said alright get it out and lets test it. So I set up the orange through an orange 2x12 and the JTM45 through an orange 2x12 and played em in unison, DIDN'T LIKE IT AT ALL!

again keep in mind that the orange is going to be used to layer in a bright british tone with a modern high gain.
