When I was14, and getting my first guitar in December of 1989, the guitar store guy talked my dad into investing in a nicer cable. It was a Whirlwind Leader cable. I still have it to this day, and it's my main cable in my live rig.
However, when I was in my more insane, crazy, and spazzy bands, I used more "disposeable" cable.
