does Gibson make a Les Paul without the stopbar tailpiece that the strings hit right before the bridge?

Might be a stupid question, but honestly, I really don't care, lol. I've been looking all over for one that doesn't have that piece, and I can't find one.

BUT

on the gibson custom website, where you can "build your own" custom Les Paul, they have that option of leaving out the stopbar...

can someone help me out? I don't wanna have to make a frankenstrat out of my Ava...(if you don't name your guitars, you should)
