Yeah, I had a look Ethan's site, there's some really valuable info on there. I've seen the DIY traps thread on GS too.

I'm quite practical, and could easily make as many frames as I need, but what bothers me is the dimensions of the traps. Obviously I want to make them so that they will give me optimum absorbsion for my room without wasting materials/space.

I want to make some HUGE ones for the peaked ceiling in my room, which I can mount over a 18 inches away from the peak, which as I understand will give maximum absorbsion.

I've found a good supplier of organic mineral wool in the UK (that is suprisingly cheap), so it will be much cheaper to DIY. I think I need to copy some dimensions of some existing traps...
