I definately had a ton of problems looking through all the pedals to find a good distortion for bass. The metal muff seemed to take a lot of the bass out of the tone.
The mxr blowtorch was ok but it just wasnt what I was looking for (I got it for sale if you want it) it's definately much more of a fuzz then a distortion but it does keep your bottom end and the rest of your frequencies intact.
