Amp decision?
Havnt posted on here for ages but just thought I'd get some of your opinions...
Our singer has started playing guitar in the band and currently using my musicman, a boss rv5 and a small clone. He's after an amp that's going to be a big clean sound on the verge of sort of overdriving. It has to take pedals well and can't be breaking up too early because of the verb. A few amps considered are a fender blues junior, deluxe reverb, tiny terror, ac15 or a champ? What amp would you recommend? |

I have a '79 silverface Fender Princeton (non reverb) and it only starts to break up with the volume on 10 if you've got a higher output pickup. It's not extremely loud but may be a good excuse to keep your bandmates down.
They may be a bit more difficult to find but I haven't regretted it plus it may be a good investment.
