Please post a link .....

These : Orange AD15/10 and AD15/12 ?

<<
Class A Valve Amps

This involves the output tubes drawing their full current constantly. As a result, the output transformer as to handle huge current draws constantly, which in turn affects the signal it sends to the speakers and ultimately shapes the tone. Many players describe it as a purer sound, but back in the real world, it simply means that class A amps run hotter and give loads more volume for your allotted wattage. They have the potential to run much cleaner than class A/B amps (most other valve amps), too, but are generally lower-powered so you can turn 'em up for that creamy overdrive.

And you get valve re ctification, too. What? Right, the power transformer (not to be confused with the output transformer) takes AC power from the wall, but the tubes require DC, so you need a rectifier. Instead of using more efficient silicone diodes, Orange has opted for the warmer, squashier characteristics of a tube rectifier. The result. >>

Yeah, it was Twelfth Fret. Not exactly a hidden gem or anything but the private rooms make me happy. Plus the people that work there know more than the L&M and Steves guys, albeit not much more.

They seem a bit constipated. Especially on e-mails.

They're gonna get the refretting job on my Tele once I get the guts to have it done. Plus, I'm in Mississauga so it's around the world.

Do you know why most Guitar Shops (or Shoppes) are closed on Sundays?

Québec was the same and Ohio is the same.

PS: There's a couple of shops on Lakeshore at Hurontario that are pretty good. It took me a year to get them to warm up to me.
'Lakeshore Guitars'- boutique type (Fender & Boogie)
'L.A. Guitars' - for the gigers (Gibson & Marshall)

No Wal-Marts in Skandinavia ... I think that's why my mother left Finland to come to Canada in '67.

I'm gonna check out those two shops at Lakeshore and Hurontario. They definitely wont warm up to me (no shops ever do once they see me) but they can kiss my ass.

12th apparently has the best service dept around. It's also totally independant from the retail department which is often a good sign. They'll be getting my future major set-ups, pup swaps and re-tubes, that's for sure.

Yeah, 12th Fret is great. They always have some seriously lust-worthy guitars in stock (did you see the 12-string 335 with the Schaller tuners? <drool!>). Tim behind the front desk is a friend of mine.

The repair shop at 12th Fret can be a little conservative in their attitudes; I once took my Strat in to see if I could convert it to a baritone, and they kept on telling me to buy a Danelectro. I kept on telling them, "I don't want a ****ing Danelectro! It's too vintage-sounding!" but they weren't listening. I finally said, "**** it" and walked. They do good work, though, I take my gear there for setups, etc.

Yeah, it pisses me off that guitar shops are closed on Sundays. It also irritates me that they all close right at six o'clock. I can understand it (a lot of the guys working there have gigs), but it's a pain in the ass if I have to get strings.

I have a Blues Junior. Great amp. I love it.

I've got a Fender Blues Deluxe 1x12 combo. $360 off of ebay. 40 watts all tube with reverb. I switched out the stock 12" speaker with a vintage 30 speaker. When used with my H&K Tube Factor pedal, I can go from beautiful clean to all out rock 'n roll hell. Oh, and my amp has nice blonde tweed also . I would look for one of these amps as it will be plenty loud for a band situation if you should need it.
