I was thinking of getting my first tube amp and a hot rod delux came to mind. I was going to get it from the thomann.de website. any opinions about the amp or this website. I am into what a little blues, electric folk and the usual radiohead type stuff.

yep, wonderful little amps. Little only in size, you can get some decent volume out of those things. Very nice choice for a first tube amp.

decent? these amps a fargin loud. dont judge tube watts to ss watts. i have a 100watt marshall ss head and a 50 watt marshall tube head and the tube blows the other away. but you can still get a good practice by yourself volume out of it.
