If you're buying from the States beware that they use 110V at the mains... I think that you guys use 220/240V like Europe.

If the amp has a voltage selector on the back (Marshalls do) then that's cool. If it's fixed voltage (ie Mesa) you need an external transformer which isn't usually advised.

I'd check the amp specs before purchase.

you're talking about the power output which goes to the speakers, and is rated in watts. the question you originally asked relates to the input voltage which is not related to the output power, and is rated in volts.

as hairychris, sorry, gertrude(!), states, over here (i'm aust. as well) we have 240v while in the USA they have 110v mains. the power coming out of the wall here will blow up the power transformer of a USA amp unless it has some kind of voltage selector. the randall site notes in the specs that the v2 has a "World voltage AC inlet". buggered if i know what that means, but that could be some kind of fancy marketing bullsh*t for voltage selection. you'll have to check at a local store.

a couple of things:
1. if you're importing stuff from the US, beware of postage costs (heavier = more expensive) and import duties. if it's noted on the postage docket thingy as a new item, customs will charge you out the arse. you could ask the sellers to post it as a "gift" or "second hand goods" but since they're a big retailer they probably don't give a sh*t about you and your hip pocket.

2. make sure that your cabinet is rated at no less than 300w at 8 ohms, otherwise when you plug this head into it you won't have speakers for very long. standard marshall cabs are rated at 300w @ 4 and 16 ohms, or 150w/side @ 8 ohms in stereo. no prizes for guessing what will happen if you pump 400w into a 300w cab.

3. are you playing stadiums? even 100w is an excessive amount of power for most situations. seriously, you won't need that much power. ever. what's wrong with your dsl100?

feel free to PM me on this stuff.
