(For JerryP) Modded JCM800 and the Fear Factory sound

Dino used to have JCM800s, but his were done by Voodoo (a place not to far from me, actually), can yours get like that? There's a JCM 212 at a local shop just sitting like, looking pretty, in (literally) perfect shape. So, if you could get back to me.

PS: i didnt PM this cuz i thought someone else might be interested

Trace didn't mod Dino's amps. As far as I know they were done by Bob Bradshaw. Your near Trace? I'm in Syracuse. Have you heard my clips? To be honest I'm really not familiar with Dino's tone. Give me the name a song that has the tone your looking for and I'll see if I can find it to give it a listen. My JCM800 is capable of a wide range of tones. If your anywhere near me your more than welcome to stop in and try it out.

Oh, sorry; a friend of mine, who's really into Dino and his tone, said something like that, but i misinterpreted it; what he said was that "Voodoo has a FF Mod, that get the same tone that Dino used to have."

I'd like to get, on lower gains, a crunchy sound (your Maiden and Priest were damn good at getting that, fyi); as the gain gets rolled up, i'd like to achieve the "Bit Crushrrr" sound (that by the Mad Capsule Markets), or stuff from Fear Factory.

EDIT: Im about 3 hours from Saracuse (excuse the spelling), so when i can warrant both purchases, and want the mod-age, i would definitly take the trip.

EDIT #2: Is it possible to add in a 5-10 band EQ, instad of getting an FX loop (for a high gain amp, the only thing i think i'd want is wah)

Welladjusted is on a distinguished road
from what i understand, the mod was an extra preamp tube for more gain

I have never seen the mod but I believe it does use an extra tube. I have seen a Bradshaw CAE SE Crunch mod. I have one here that came out of a Plexi reissue. I don't know if he used the same mod for the JCM800 or not. My JCM800 has an extra tube.
