You should slap whoever advised you to buy that amp

Why would you need to hook it up to a cab?

2 12's at 50 watts each should be loud enough for practically anything.

Also... where in IL do you live?

i'm not familar with that amp but if it has a 1/4 output jack that says something along the line of 8 omh out or 16 ohm out it can happen. Make sure the ohms match when you're hooking up the cabinet.

So basically you want to look "cool" by having a stack?

You are *the* person they market those amps to.

I don't think you can hook it up to a cab. The only line-out is an emulated line-out for recording.

And about the quality of the amp, something about the sterile cleans and crappy distortion and the whole "The Vox Valvetronix costs just as much and is infinitely better" is what I find wrong with it. Oh, and it'll probably fall apart in about 3 seconds. Have fun .

Any Marshall that isn't all tube is a waste of money.

Look in the back and see if you can see the jack that goes to the speakers. Buy a cab, match up the ohms to the rating that is on the amp jack. Play with the combo powering the cab for a while and then when you can afford it, ditch the mg and get something that isnt an mg.*

*Just my opinion, a decent cab probably would improve the sound a little over the crappy mg stock speakers though.
