so I was in a local music store not that long ago and had the joy of plugging into a Dr. Z Maz 18 Jr. dear god, it was beautiful. anyway, since I don't have nearly enough cash I was wondering if anyone could suggest an amp in the -$1000 CAN range that would give me a similar tone. I understand you can't match the amp at a fraction of the price, but I'm basically looking for something with that nice warm tube breakup. anyone?
