New Band for Jubileeman and Marshall in video action!:)

Hey joined a pop-rock group that I personally think has a lot of potential. I've been so busy with the two bands, I had little time to post here!

Check out our first gig videos:

Jacob Martin Band Video Clips

The audio isnt the best since video must be compressed for internet, but you can clearly hear how well the jubilee sits in the mix!

Cheers...

I always pictured you in a harder band. That guy singing reminds me of that guy from BH 90210.

Well "hard" is a point of view... but my other Blues/rock band is far more hard hitting than this new one. Thats the band where I lay down the hard core Hendrix/SRV and Rory Gallagher.

hey jubileeman, I never realized you're in minneapolis.... I'm right across the river in River Falls, WI. you should come check out my band sometime.... we're called Darkness Prevails (http://www.darkness-prevails.com/). I play bass in this band, although my primary instrument is guitar. And to anyone else in the twin cities area, we'd really like to see you at our shows.

Thanks for making me realize how great a Jubilee sounds, causing me to then scour GG and amp sound sample sites for more information about them. I think I'm going to have major GAS over one of those even though I can't possibly afford one for awhile (student loans suck).

The tone on the first song in that list especially had me listening closely, the sound of the Strat was just awesome, but what exactly were you using besides Strat and Jubilee on that one? (pedals, the Twin Reverb, etc.)

Thanks in advance!

You sound good, actually you made it interesting because it's not really my style. The singer has good a good voice, though.

The Dan Smith strat sounds great So does that LP Custom... Are you using your tuner > wah > vibe > a/b box setup with both amps? I couldn't see the Fender in the footage

Thanks! I wanted to keep my rig as simply as humanly possible for our fist gig.

All I ever had in all those video clips was:

Guitar
Tuner
De7 Delay in FX loop
Jubilee
4x12
Footswitch for jubilee's channels

I wanted to bring my twin...but it was only a 45 min set and I didnt want to lug around my full rig for such a small gig.

not to plug myself or anything...but you can hear more jubilee clips in my signature.

ALSO, don't forget, that is a very compressed sounding recording and rather grainy... I'll try posting just the MP3s of the concert which show how much better the jubilee sounded than those video clips you heard So if you are starting to GAS cause of the video clips... you may not want to listen to the Mp3s! lol!

Thanks! Whats got my eyebrow up about this group is everyone seems to have a different "favorite" tune. Its all pop rock, but its got a lot of range covered... and moods...

also means there are multiple good tunes.
