I'll wait and see if it's got the same noise issues as the Valve Jr. before I get interested. Noise in a $100 tube amp is one thing, but I'm guessing this is gonna be steeper. Did you take a look at the Blues Special?

I do pedal mods. I build amps. You should get one built for you.
If it's too loud, you're too old.

And here's all my gear.

And my band

The so-cal 50 has shown up on a coupla retail sites now..looks like it's gonna be $499 as the basic pricing. Hope Epiphone got their noise issues under control, if they did, I'm definitely snapping one up.

Wow, if the noise is low, I am going to be pissed 'cause the Blues one looks sweet and it is all tube. However, my fender sounds good, so who knows. Thinking of waiting for some reviews and then picking up the head.

If those Valve Jr heads are in the $120 range (which they should be..) I will probably pick up a couple to augment my Valve Jr collection.....mmmmm, quadrophonic Class A valve tone....

think there will be a valve junior cab in the near future?

I found the head on Music 123 for $100, I so want one. Cannot find any of the Blues, curious as to what they will sell for. FYI, the old valve series at Guitar Center are all like 54% off or something now, so I might see what I can get for my dorm for cheap.

Finally!

Tubes amps for the (really) poor men!

But i doubt that the lower wattage amps are good for gigging, are they?
