Please try and identify this amp. (YouTube)

Guys, the Black Keys, as most fans know, use all sorts of amps live and in the studio - love them for that, and i love their tone !

Can you please watch this here YouTube clip, of them live on American TV (some late night show looks like), and tell me what you think . . .

http://youtube.com/watch?v=XoG3TACGXZo

As you can see, it is a small combo, plugged into a big-@rse cab !

Is it the amp that i think it is ?

Also, any idea what pedals (i count two) he is using ?

Man, i get all warm and fuzzy inside when i hear his tone

Thanx guys !

Apparently it's a custom amp. There's a thread on the Black Keys forum about it. Read the third post.

i love the black keys!

i know it's irrelevant but i culdn't resist

looks like a fender blues junior/pro and a big ass cab

on the dvd you get a real close look at his pedal board, but in this he must of had to cut down on his equipment, maybe somthing to do with the studio manager or whoever liking a nice clean stage?

Anyway it's probally fulltone fuzz pedal and a boss tuner, dans main pedals.

and in case you wonder he is playing a jerry donahue tele, now he prefers the sg custom, you know, the one with 3 pickups.

Would you know what Fulltone pedal he is using, as i think they have three fuzz units out already !

Thanx

I only just realized that their 'Stack Shot Billy' is a take on the classic 'Stagger Lee'

The very same Stagger Lee that Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds did in the 90's ???

Sorry to disappoint, Mr. Fuzz. I was kind of hoping the same thing.

I thought it was this little obscure amp I'd seen Dan play (and played myself) at Heights Guitar. It was low wattage, probly like 15-20 and had built in tremolo. He seemed to like it, but I guess it's that custom job mentioned on that thread. Dan did buy an awesome frankensteined old (late 60s or early 70s), baby blue fender mustang.
