Roland JC-120 help needed
I have just recently purchased a newer style JC 120 with the dark cone speakers. (not silver cone) Instead of the up-and-down switch for the Chorus/vibrato setting, it has a knob that you turn either left or right.
The Rate / Depth knobs adjust the vibrato, but do not affect the chorus in the least bit. I talked to Roland and they thought that the chorus is fixed and cannot be adjusted. I talked to a guitar tech at a shop and he said that he thought the chorus is adjustable with the Rate / Depth knobs just like the Vibrato. (on the older models anyway) I have an older JC-55 2x8" amp. It doesn't have Vibrato, but the chorus has a "fixed" and a "manual" position. In manual, it is adjustable with the Rate / Depth knobs. In fixed, it sounds just like my JC-120. Do any of you guys have a newer style JC-120? Is the chorus fixed on your amp? Is mine broken? Please help.
