Good amp for a solid state piece. Clean tone sucks by comparison to my Mesa but the dirt sound is really good. It used to be my only amp and I never had to buy a distortion pedal.
It should come with a card that has some pretty good presets on it. The foot switch is very good practically indestructable, you can activate the FX loop, change from clean to o/d and also boost/ reverb. Pretty rare for a $500 amp. The amp has a built in direct box for going straight out to the board, it works very well and sounds good. Just don't turn the amp off while using it or it will make a very interesting noise through the P/A.
