what kind of tube should i put in my avt50 valvestate?

PLEASE help!

12ax7

There are no tubes in the Valvestates I thought? Maybe I'm mistaken? If I am, maybe I need to change the tube in my AVT...

valve= as in tube
state= as in solid state

it's a marketing scam. putting a single 2ax7 in a s.s. amp and saying it's just as good as a real tube amp.

anyways. the tube has very little effect on the sound, so any brand of 12ax7 should do.

I put a 12AT7 in mine thinking it would lower and smooth out the gain a bit.

NOPE

No noticable difference to me. It's just a gimmick,and they'll live for years without needing a change.
