WEM Clubman!

Has anyone tried one of these badboys? I tried one for about 10 mins the other day sounded real nice! Anybody had much experience with one?

I haven't heard of a WEM amp in 30 years. They are not that common although some touring pros used them in the early 70s. Is this an old one or did someone buy the manufacturing rights to the name and are now making modern amps in China or something? Is it an SS amp?

It's an old amp. A 5 watt Tube masterpiece. That's going by the 10 mins i had to play with it.

It's probably a screamer then but I would guess not that particularly valuable.

Yeah you're right, they go for about £100.
I was thinking of getting two, so my room can be a stereo wonderland

these were the amps the beatles used for most of their time in germany. awesome amps. i wish i could find one around here.
