The worse case of GAS ever

So I was in NYC this past weekend and I stopped into my favorite shop... Rudy's Music. They happened to have a Bogner sitting in the back (Well, three). I plugged into the Shiva. There's no words to describe my love for it. The distortion was sick, way Marshally, but still deep and heavy. The cleans, Fender beautiful.

I was amazed. So. Naturally, I now have GAS. And I just happened to find one on Ebay for a grand flat. Sadly, it's local pickup only.... And in Denver. I'm in Pittsburgh.

I thought I'd share my bad GAS and sob story.

If it makes you feel any better, that amp won't go for a dime under $1500, probably closer to $1800 even.

...if it makes you feel any worse, my Shiva rig stands taller than I do.

Go on drive to Denver.

It will be sort of like Sleepless in Seatle except with more real love.

Feed the GAS

I was thinking of that too, but if you take the quickest route and only eat off of the dollar menu, you'll be ok.

you need gas in your car's tank to fuel the gas inside your head.

I'm sorry, that was terrible.

They say an amplifier will treat you better than any woman. It's true because women will leave you for any reason at all, when your amp still just sits there serving you, weather it's a burnt offering, or a grand hotel dining.

I'm about ready to jump in my truck and drive up north to look at a Laney, although it was spotted there, no one knows what model it is. The risk I'm gonna take. 300 dollars is worth it for a Laney tube head

So I say unto you, DO IT OR YOU'LL HAVE BAD SEX RELATIONSHIPS!!!

when GAS sets in there's nothing you can do about it.

My Bogner XTC had to come from another COUNTRY! And if i'd have had to pick it up - i'd have flown out and got it.

Chase that shiva!

although i can't see it selling for less than $1600.

My dad's Honda CRV gets good gas mileage..... But Denver is way far for a Pittsburgher. I want a Shiva so bad. I'm really tempted to ask the guy if he could ship it to me and I'll pay a little more.....

Two questions:

A: What's the average price on a Shiva 1x12 new?

B: How much would the 2x12 Shiva be?

I'm in the market for one and want to know if I should get the 2x12 or the 1x12. What I'd like to know, after finding out the cost, is which would be the best deal for my mo-ney.
