yet another tube related question

i've decided to change all the preamp tubes in my amp as they're all old, some of them are microphonic, and they're also the ones that came with the amp when it was new (which in my experience is never a good thing).

i play a fender 52 tele and a fender jazzmaster through a fender twin reverb, and the music i'm into is (in short) the rakes, tom waits, interpol, velvet underground, radiohead, b52s, bad seeds, the cure and echo & the bunnymen.

can anybody recommend some tubes?

I know......I've seen it.

There are just so many mentioned and I was thinking of something more specific for my taste in music. Sorry to be a pain.

For a twin the choice is really pretty subjective. I've been using Electroharmonic badged Sovtecs and like their particular blend of sparkle and gain. Depending on where you are there are spe******t tube supply vendors who will be able to help you out in a narrowing down of your precise requirements.
