1965 Rickenbacker Bass. Price?

I seem to have found a 1965 Rickenbacker Bass. What would be a fair price?

This is a big deal, man. It is a 4000 (single pickup), 4001 (dual pickup), or 4005 (hollowbody)?

I've never seen a '65 4000 or 4001 before.

It's a 4001.

I'm East Coast NSW, but I get around.

Wow. Honestly, you're probably looking at $9000-$10,000 USD.

Edit: Naturally, that depends on condition.

To be honest, i'm kind of skeptical about this and would REALLY like to see some pictures, if you can post some.

Its a 4001 allright and the seriel number checks out, unfortunately conscience has gotten the better of me and you will probably see it on ebay soon (From the original vendor). I could have had it for AUS$1800, but I'm too honest. Sorry no photos.
