Hi all GearGeeks.

I'm thinking about getting a laboga Mr. Hector. I am quit sure i have seen one with KT66/77/88 tubes in it. However i know they make them with 6L6's now. Can you swap out the 6L6's with KT tubes? I know you have to be careful with this stuff, and i have only heard of switching 6V6 with 6L6, so i am kind of confused. Any help would be apriciated.

i play metal and am a praise and worship guitarist for my church. i have a decent solid state amp (crate GT212) and want a better amp, preferably tube. from what i've seen, i like the mesa dual rect. That has been the closest to what im looking for i've heard yet. I live in a small town that doesn't have a guitar center or any other large music store so i can try one. my current setup isnt excellent, but its what i have so far.
