check it out... these are supposedly all of the exact pedals that mikey used on the 2004 ACLOTM tour... "here is my current set-up I am useing on stage: electrix filter factory, danelectro reel tape echo, dunlop dimebag, rotosphere, 2 boss ph-2 super phasers(different modes, dod fx13 gonkulator, boss rv-3 digital reverb/delay, mxr phase 90, dod fx25b enevelope filter, boss cs-3 compressor sustainer, boss oc-2 octave, boss ch-1 chorus, boss tu-2 tuner, whirlwind amp selector- dod preamp 250 pverdrive(for clean amp), boss super overdrive and ts9 tuberscreamer(for dirty amp. this works great with phasers". this is a quote by Mike EInziger posted on harmony-central.com It sounds pretty legit to me, and maybe it will answer any questions as to what a couple of ht e mystery pedals in his set up may have been.

Indeed. However, on The Crow Left of The Murder DVD that came with the first few pressings of the CD there is reason to believe he used a Dime Crybaby From Hell.

Ok Ive talked to mike's guitar tech and this is his exact setup.
Im not positive on what the wiring pattern is for the filter factory and the pod yet they might be in another loop.
And the POD has nothing to do his tone. So this is as much as larry has confirmed for me.

Electrix filter factory
Line 6 POD
Danelectro reel echo
Crybaby wah not the dime
Hughes and Kettner Tube Rotosphere
2X Boss super phasers
DOD Gonkulator
Boss Digital Delay/Reverb
Phase 90
DOD Envelope Filter
Boss Compression Sustainer
Boss Octave
Digitech Multi Chorus
Boss stage tuner

A/B switch
Vox ac30 with digitech tone driver sitting on top
Marshall Plexi head, dod overdrive 250 sitting behind.
fender jazzmasters

both the dod and the digitech tone driver are left on all the time.

that would explain how the filter factory would be able to modulate the reel echo's repeats. i dont think it would be able to do that being before it in the signal chain.

Tempus is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: well...

Sorry for the Late post, but Supah man, you asked about the DD5, and the DD6...heres my two cents on the DD5.

I bought the DD5 specifically because of the external tap tempo. You can stomp it on, and start tapping and it immediately syncs up with the tempo. This pedal is most practical for me b/c I also sing, so I don't have time to hold it down and then tap the tempo and then hit it again, or whatever the case is with other pedals.

You can also start tapping the tempo before you activate the effect which is convenient. So I can play without delay, tap the tempo and the second I stomp the pedal on, the delay is in perfect time.

As far as other delay pedals go I couldn't tell ya. But if you're interested in the DD5 check Ebay cuz they've been discontinued.

supah man, i would go for an ibanez de-7. they sound much better than the dd series from boss in my opionion. the delays are much more..........articulate. also, the analog setting is excellent. the dd series doesnt self-oscillate. however, they pitch shift, which can cause some confusion.

the only perk of the dd-5 or dd-6 is the tap tempo. for the money, the ibanez is the way to go in regards to sound.

Exactly, the filter factory does modulate the reel echo as well all the other pedals in his line so its gotta be at the end.

oh yeh! i forgot about that.

Ok, I found these last pics very useful for all of us on this thread... Maybe I recognized many of his pedals:

Here we go! (all pics are intended from left to right):
Bitmap-5/Bitmap-6:
- Ibanez (FZ-7? It's a three knobs pedal with a light green logo) - it's upside down
- Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner
- DOD Envelope Filter (?)
- MXR Phase 90
- Whirlwind A/B Box (modified as we all know now...)
- Boss DD-? Delay (I think... four black knobs with blue surface on them)
- Boss RV-3 Digital Reverb/Delay
- Boss PH-2 Super Phaser
- Boss PH-2 Super Phaser
- Hughes & Kettner Rotosphere
- "Mikey Likes It" Box (a custom stompbox?)
Bitmap-7:
- Dunlop (Double Shot?) Distortion
- Dunlop Crybaby From Hell Dimebag (RIP) Signature Wah
Bitmap-8/Bitmap-9:
- DigiTech Whammy Wah (anybody knows the version?)
- Boss OC-2 Octave
- Danelectro Reel Echo - BTW: Does anyone have one of these? I'd like to know if they're any good...
Bitmap-0 (maybe this pedals have been used in studio only):
- Electro-Harmonix (Electric Mistress? Memory Man?)
- Electro-Harmonix Sovtek Big Muff

I'm not sure about all of them... Help me and write the "definitive" list...

Bye!

Nope, it is no swollen pickle but a russian Big Muff Pi; on the swollen pickle the middle button is lower than the left and right button. Here it is higher, so it should be a russian BMP.

thats definitely not a big muff pi. look at the knobs. the big muff pi has 'chickenhead' knobs. that is the swollen pickle.
